Villa Leonarda: Vintage Hollywood

Nestled on the banks of the Rio Cuale in the shaded canopy of a 100 year old tree sits Villa Leonarda, one of Puerto Vallarta’s most historic homes.  A popular gathering places for movie stars and celebrities since the 1960’s, Villa Leonarda was a favorite hideaway for such stars as Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and John Huston.

Tucked deep into a Mexican neighborhood, Villa Leonarda offers an intimate cultural experience, while its traditional hacienda style with a large central courtyard also allows privacy when guests are ready to “get away from it all.”  Featuring a heated pool and lush gardens, the Leonarda was recently renovated to include modern baths and kitchen while retaining the old world charm.
